I. INTRODUCTION & PURPOSE

The Idaho Forest Restoration Partnership (IFRP) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to perform a comprehensive redesign of our current website (idahoforestpartners.org). As a state-wide non-profit, IFRP supports collaborative groups across Idaho that work towards improving the resiliency of Idaho’s forests. While the current IFRP website is technically sound, we envision a more modern site that is able to serve as a hub for information to our partners and offers easy-to-use features for those seeking to learn more about IFRP’s work. The goals of the website redesign are summarized here:

  • Improved user experience & navigation

  • Mobile optimized, responsive design

  • High-quality photos that align with our mission and tell our story

  • Internal search function that supports helping site visitors understand who we are and what we do

  • Migration to a CMS that is industry standard and easy to update from the back end

  • Features a calendar where our events & partner events can be shared

  • Features strong call to actions for involvement, donations, and sponsorships

  • Features a news feed with collated information from relevant government agencies, partner non-profits, and industry supporters

  • Improved SEO through quality link building, meta tags, and a strong keyword strategy

  • Meet current accessibility standards

  • Ability to integrate with our email marketing platform Aweber

  • Requirement: The consultant must handle the domain transfer (DNS) from SiteKreator to the new hosting environment.
